History in the making!

I look at this time and place we are in right now and can’t fathom how it will be seen in the future. Will it be comparable to Lincoln’s Gettysburg speech or Martin Luther King’s “I have a dream” speech; because right now at this moment, that dream Dr. King spoke of could be coming true. Look at the progress made and the possibility at hand. I was listening to some old 60’s and 70’s songs by Marvin Gaye, Rare Earth, and War and for the first time it hit me. This time right now represents what those songs of struggle were written about. Do you think Marvin Gaye thought this point would ever even be a possibility when he wrote “What’s Going’ On” or when Rare Earth wrote "Hey Big Brother"? A multiracial man has came and represented the American Dream and given hope to all races and colors. To be a true part of history, to make a difference by voting for the betterment of us, our kids, and our generations to follow! What an exciting time to be an American!
